Is exactly like when you are walking in a forest and you see trees for miles and miles and a glade appears to your eyes. Everything sounds quiet, an empty space where you can find a piece of mind.

ANIME SALVE IN TERRA E MARE

Anime Salve in Terra e Mare was born in 2009 from the wish of Vita Stasolla and 3 students of the Rotterdam Dance Academy – Codarts, from the omonimous musical-poetic work “Anime Salve” of the italian singer-songwriter Fabrizio De Andrè. 

The passion for the poetry of this extraordinary artist, has pushed the four to involve a team of italian Codarts students to be part of the work. 

From this communion of intent and artistic visions, the full evening piece has grown, digging into subjects that were reflecting their artistic and personal sensitivity, such as integration of diversity in a society, the role of women and sexual discrimination, the conflict between majority and minority, the need to travel and discover new territories together with the need for loneliness and introspection.  

The group was joined by the tribute band “Anime Salve”, born in 1999 in Parma (IT), a consolidated music reality, composed by 12 musicians and very much faithful to the original music of Fabrizio De Andrè.
